On May 22nd, we celebrated the completion of the playground with San Diego Parks & Rec Foundation, the city of San Diego, and local residents! San Diego families were excited to finally have play equipment back at Fanuel park after a long wait.
Because steel playground equipment is susceptible to corrosion from sea salt spray and other coastal conditions, we selected a recycled plastic playground from our Grounds For Play Line. Having the opportunity to work with some of the highest level design professionals in the recreation space here in Southern California is a true blessing. I’ve been able to learn a ton over the years on how to really create both a functional and aesthetically pleasing playground design in San Diego. When I’m not working, I’m appreciating all that this city has to offer.
