At Zoom, themes are our specialty! We designed a custom baseball shade structure structure to protect the playground equipment.
The baseball-themed playground equipment features elements like sports jerseys, baseballs, mitts, bats, and stadium lights, creating the look and feel of a real ballpark experience.
Our team provided two playground structures catered to different age groups to promote inclusivity. The smaller structure featured lower slides and climbing equipment, appropriate for children aged 2-5.
The larger playground features a wider variety of play elements appropriate for children of all ages. The taller and diverse play elements provide a challenge for older children, while the play panels and smaller climbers promote physical and cognitive development for the younger children.
As a former engineer who worked in the construction industry for years, it has been a breath of fresh air to work for Zoom Recreation as a Project Manager on truly meaningful and exciting projects for local communities here in San Diego. Since working for Zoom, I have been able to use my past experience in engineering and project management to provide a seamless project experience for clients from the design phase to final product. Being able to design and build community spaces for my city has been a true joy and makes coming into work everyday a privilege. When I am not working at Zoom you can find me playing hockey, surfing, biking, and exploring nature.
