This was a complete overhaul of two blank spaces, transforming dirt and asphalt into an array of textures, colors, and shapes.

The Challenge

The challenge of this job was also a big reason why it was so special to complete. For both play areas, the Director provided rough drawings of their vision for each space and challenged us to bring them to life.

Our Solution

We used far more than just equipment to create spaces where the kids (aged 0-5) are encouraged to grow and explore. The result includes Red pavers, Blue rubber, White sand, Green artificial turf, Tan decomposed granite, Dark Brown wood chips, colorful plants, and play equipment made of post-consumer recycled plastics

Project Manager

Being a Project Manager for Zoom Recreation has brought so much joy and purpose to my work. As a child forced away from the TV and into year-round sports, park days and camping trips, I learned to appreciate what being active does for the mind, body, and spirit. Working with our customers who share that purpose, to create a space for this generation's youth to explore, is energizing. Outside of work, I am a sports fanatic and I support my favorite teams: Lakers, Dodgers, and Liverpool FC. I am also really enjoying a new chapter in life as a husband and father of a newborn girl.

Award-Winning Playground Company

Zoom Recreation strives to create efficient recreational spaces and provide exceptional customer service. Superior awarded us their highest President's Award and Gold Club Awards two years in a row.
