At Provident Skate Park, the Zoom team designed and installed custom shade structures that not only enhance the park’s visual appeal but also provide crucial sun protection for skaters.
Skaters are constantly in motion, performing dynamic tricks like flips, jumps, and grinds that require speed, space, and precision. In this skate park shade project, we not only addressed those needs by maintaining open areas and accounting for elevation changes, but also successfully provided shade structures designed at the right height—ensuring they offer relief from the sun without interfering with skaters in action.
The cantilever fabric shade structure was an ideal choice for this skatepark layout, providing extensive coverage while remaining unobtrusive to both resting and active skaters.
I am thrilled to be a Project Manager at Zoom Recreation and work with a Team of highly driven, energetic individuals, in a corporate culture that promotes collaboration and creativity. I feel great satisfaction bringing customers’ vision to life by designing playgrounds that are safe and help children develop to their fullest potential (physically, emotionally, creatively). I feel great joy when I see children enjoying their new playground. I love the outdoors and enjoy practicing sports with my family: tennis, playing soccer, walking, hiking, swimming, snorkeling. I also enjoy cooking.
