The playground features a combination of two safety surfaces: Engineered Wood Fiber and Pour-in-Place Rubber.
The objective was to create a visually appealing surface by using the bright blue poured-in-place rubber to resemble the ocean. The engineered wood fiber was used to to resemble the sand in the beach. The shoreline was achieved by building a turndown.
The Viking Ship is crafted from recycled plastic material to create a wood-like aesthetic, without the inconvenient maintenance of real wood. Learn more about the Viking Ship themed playground.
I am thrilled to be a Project Manager at Zoom Recreation and work with a Team of highly driven, energetic individuals, in a corporate culture that promotes collaboration and creativity. I feel great satisfaction bringing customers’ vision to life by designing playgrounds that are safe and help children develop to their fullest potential (physically, emotionally, creatively). I feel great joy when I see children enjoying their new playground. I love the outdoors and enjoy practicing sports with my family: tennis, playing soccer, walking, hiking, swimming, snorkeling. I also enjoy cooking.
